Kerri Einarson was born on October 3, 1987, in the small town of Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada. She is from a sports-oriented family. His parents were also curling lovers. They used to take Kerri to the local rink. So, Kerri was introduced to curling in her childhood.

Kerri used to play curling well naturally from her childhood days. She had a deep connection with curling. She improved her gifted skills more by practicing. She used to participate in the local junior league too. Kerri was admitted to Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School. Besides studying, she used to involve herself in different types of sports. In school, she was not only playing curling but also playing volleyball and basketball. In 2010, while she was playing as third player for Dave Boehmer, she won her first provincial mixed title. She began her career in mixed curling with this success. Then, her team represented Manitoba at the 2010 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship, where they lost in a tiebreaker match. In 2013, Einarson won her second provincial mixed title, this time playing as the third player for Terry McNamee, but they could win only 4 games and lost 7 games.

One of her memorable moments came in 2015 when she scored a rare eight-ender in her first round-robin game of the Manitoba Scotties Tournament of Hearts against Tiffany McLean. This was the first time a team had ever achieved an eight-ender in the recorded history of the Manitoba Scotties.

In the 2018–19 season, Einarson formed a new team with Val Sweeting, Shannon Birchard, and Briane Meilleur. They had won four straight World Curling Tour events in just three weeks. They weren't able to win the 2019 Scotties Wild Card game but they won the 2019 Players' Championship and runners-up at the 2019 Champions Cup.

The team continued getting their success into the 2019–20 season also, winning the 2020 Manitoba Scotties and the 2020 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, where Einarson achieved her first national title against Rachel Homan by an 8-7 win. This victory earned her the MVP of the tournament. Although they were ready to represent Canada at the 2020 World Women’s Curling Championship, the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2021, Team Einarson successfully defended their title at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, which is Canada's national women's curling championship. The tournament was held in a controlled environment known as a "bubble" in Calgary. This setup was taken to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission. As a result, the event took place without any spectators, ensuring the safety of the participants and staff while allowing the competition to proceed. They won the final against Rachel Homan which was their second consecutive Scotties gold. During the 2021 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Einarson performed exceptionally well throughout the tournament. As a result, Kerri Einarson was named one of the first-team all-stars. She also won the 2021 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship with Brad Gushue. Although Team Einarson had a slow start at the 2021 World Women’s Curling Championship, they finished strong, qualifying for the playoffs, though they ultimately lost to Sweden in the bronze medal game.

Team Einarson achieved a historic third consecutive Scotties title in 2022 and went on to win bronze at the World Championship.
